About Me

Hi! My name is Laura and I have been teaching Kindergarten for 15 years. I previously owned the blog Kinder Kraziness, but shut it down in 2016 and decided to take a different route with my writing.

I am a mom to 3 awesome kiddos. One who is ours biologically and the other two are ours by custody, but one day we would like to adopt if that is ever available for us to do. My husband and I have a GoFundMe account set up to help with legal fees for their custody battle and hopeful adoption.

Life has definitely not been boring since gaining custody in June of 2016. The boys (Mason on the left and Layne on the right) are practically twins. They are just shy of 4 months apart. Luna is two going on 12.

My husband and I have been married 7 years. We love to travel together, go to the movies and drive each other crazy. He's a pretty awesome guy to go through our crazy life with.

This is my 15th year teaching Kindergarten. I have my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education & Development from the University of Memphis and am hoping that once things settle down with our new adventure, I can resume my Masters classes in Leadership.

I am currently honored to be my districts Teacher of the Year and love working behind the scenes of our Kindergarten program as well as in the classroom.

I work with a great team at my school. There are just 4 of us on our grade level and we get a long great! Our school is small and it's so nice to work in a community that loves their school as well.

Kindergarten is where I'm meant to be. I love it and know it well. I'm always trying to do what I can to make the most of it for every child and want every child to succeed.
